Youdunit Whodunit – New Cover Using Kindle’s Cover Creator

Had some fun recently giving Amazon’s Cover Creator a whirl and changed the cover for my little how-to write mysteries primer, Youdunit Whodunit.

Very simple process:

- load up your image
- choose fonts and layout styles
- preview, change, preview, change until you get it right
- publish!

And did I say it was free? I liked the process and the simple steps involved. Not a whole lot of choice in layouts but enough.

One negative, and it’s BIG, is that you can’t have a full rez copy of your cover photo to use on any other site, like your website or blog.

Think this is very short-sighted as an author needs to showcase a book cover in a myriad of places, all geared to sell more books through Amazon.

So, all I can show you is a low rez copy.

Oh and this is the old version. Whaddya think?

Since I’m selling Youdunit Whodunit exclusively through Amazon, I’m going to let the new cover ride for a while.
